Translate with the OrderCentral Translation Object

Data specific text value translations are not supported by configuration features. In these cases it is possible to utilize the OrderCentral translations. If it is picklist values you want to translate see the Translate with the Translation Workbench section. Otherwise follow the steps below.
- In the App Launcher search for Translations and open it.
- To add a new translation click the New button in the right top of the screen
- Select the type of record you want to translate and click Next
- Select the record, field and language which you want to translate
- Enter the translated value
- Save
Translate custom text field values
By default all OrderCentral fields are supported by translation record. It may however be that you need to translate values for a custom field that you added yourself after installation. In that case you will need to register that field in the Translation object configuration.
- In the setup open the Object Manager and search for Translation
- In the translation object go to Fields & Relationships
- Search for the Field Name field
- In the Field Name field add a new value by clicking the New button in the Values section
- Add the api name of the custom field as value
- Select the Record Type Name for the Object it exists on.
- After adding the value you can choose to change the value label to match the field label
Now your all set to add custom text field value translations.
