Keeping things simple? You will have a the ability to redirect the customer to a custom link that contains the terms & conditions. The url containing the terms & conditions can be configured in the Welisa Commerce Settings.
- Go to the Salesforce Setup and go to Custom Settings
- Click 'Manage' before the Welisa Commerce System Setting setting
- Click 'Edit and enter the url in the Terms and Conditions Link field and press 'Save'
Rich text
To setup the payment details page with custom terms and conditions that requires a checkbox to be clicked in order to accept them, execute the steps below.
- Go to the experience builder of your site
- Open the Commerce - Catalog page
- Click the
icon, next to the page name.
- Click the 'Change' button in the Layout section at the bottom of the properties panel
- Change the layout to Checkout Layout and click the 'Change' button and ignore any warnings
- In the Builder make sure the Commerce - CheckoutPage is selected and click the Payment Info tab.
- At the buttom you will see a section called termsAndConditions (see picture below), select the Rich Content Editor component from the component
panel
- Add the required rich text to the Rich Content Editor that is on the page
- To change the text behind the checkbox go to Custom Labels and search for label name By_clicking_Place_Order_you_agree_to_our
