You may create a page for a category or a sub-category specifically in site builder.
Difference between redirecting the URL to Web Category and creating a Web Category specific page:

Steps to create a Web Category specific page:
- Go to Setup and type All Sites in Quick Find box.
- Click the Builder of the site you want to add Web Category specific page.
- In Pages, create a Web Category specific page under Commerce - Catalog or the higher level Web Category page, choose Standard Page, click + New Black Page , then choose your layout.
- Input the Name, URL and API Name of the page.
- Go to the new Web Category specific page, add Catalog - Property Filters, Catalog category Breadcrumbs and Catalog - Product Overview from Custom Components to the Section
- Click Catalog - Product Overview, and choose the relevant Web Category in the Main Category picklist.
- After configuring the property settings of the specific page, Publish the page.
- To connect the page and the relevant Web Category, go to the relevant Web Category record page, add the API Name to Page Name.
API Name
You can find the API Name in the page's Properties in the site builder.
Sub-categories not clickable
Non-filterable sub-categories are not clickable. Please make your categories filterable in Salesforce object page.
After the specific page is connected with its Web Category, the link is more stable even you change the details of the Web Category.
